Review: Zombie Blondes

Zombie Blondes
Brian James
Feiwel & Friends

From Goodreads: From the moment Hannah Sanders arrived in town, she felt there was something wrong.
A lot of houses were for sale, and the town seemed infected by an unearthly quiet. And then, on Hannah’s first day of classes, she ran into a group of cheerleaders—the most popular girls in school.
The odd thing was that they were nearly identical in appearance: blonde, beautiful, and deathly pale.
But Hannah wants desperately to fit in—regardless of what her friend Lukas is telling her: if she doesn’t watch her back, she’s going to be blonde and popular and dead—just like all the other zombies in this town. . . .

My Review: Okay, the cover pulled me in and I did read the synopsis. I was looking for some great zombie action in this book and that is not what happened. This book was Okay for me. I read this book and at first I was drawn in. It was set up pretty well and kept me reading and then I started to wonder when it was going to pick up and at points it did but then it fell off again. I trudged on because I do not "DNF" books. I will put the book down and try again later or give it a few days then pick it up again . I knew I would not pick this book up again so I finished this book. The felt the author could have done more with the premise of this book but sorry he didn't
