Bite Me (A Love Story # 3)
Christopher Moore
Harper Collins

From Goodreads: The undead rise again in Bite Me, the third book in New York Times bestselling author Christopher Moore’s wonderfully twisted vampire saga. Joining  his farcical gems Bloodsucking Fiends and You Suck, Moore’s latest in continuing story of young, urban, nosferatu style love, is no Twilight—but rather a tsunami of the irresistible outrageousness that has earned him the appellation, “Stephen King with a whoopee cushion and a double-espresso imagination” from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and inspired Denver’s Rocky Mountain News to declare him, “the 21st century’s best satirist.”

My Review : I enjoyed this book. I really enjoyed the chapters narrated by Abby, also to see how the relationship between Jody and Tommy progressed. The part about Chet and the other vampire cats was interesting and sometimes creepy, but overall a funny read as all the books were in the series. I enjoyed that some of the characters in the last two books were developed more and given their own story lines instead of just being filler.I will be reading more of Christopher Moore's book, I found his writing humorous and well executed. These stories made me laugh and captured my interest at the same time.

Review : Blood of My Blood ( Jasper Dent # 3)

Little Brown Books for Young Readers

From Goodreads: Jazz has been shot and left to die in New York. His girlfriend, Connie, is in the clutches of Jazz's monstrous father, Billy--the world's most notorious serial killer. And his best friend, Howie, is bleeding to death on the floor of Jazz's new home.

Somehow, these three must rise above the horrors and find a way to come together in pursuit of Billy.

But then Jazz crosses a line he's never crossed before, and soon the entire country is wondering: "Like father, like son? Who is the true monster?"

From New York City to the small town of Lobo's Nod, the chase is on, and this time, Jazz is the hunted, not the hunter--while Billy Dent lurks in the shadows.

And beyond Billy? Something much, much worse. Prepare to meet...the Crow King.

My Review: What can I say about this trilogy. That I wish it could continue. That this is one series I am keeping because I want to re-read it. This story and characters blew me away , well I have said all these things and I am truly upset that this series ended. I loved Jasper Dent and did not want to finish this book because there was not another one to get and continue this amazing, horrifying, and wonderfully written story. Action packed from page one till Jaspers final bow. I recommend this trilogy too all the fans of dark  murder mysteries ( from ages 16 to  106 )  you will love it I promise .

If I could have given it more stars I would have

Where I have been and new start

Hello my followers and casual readers,

I know I have not been here for a long time due to family problems and personal problems, but this month I finally resolved all of them for good. I know I thought they were gone before but now for sure they are gone. I will be blogging more and reviewing 2 books a week for a while. I am also starting a new blog about my life and things I am struggling with as a therapeutic outlet. If your interested in that blog let me know. I will be dealing with my weight, money and my efforts to break bad habits.

But as for the books I have been trying to clear my bookshelves so I have books to review and books to read so starting August 13th this blog will be up and running again. Thank you for sticking it out and hanging in there with me.

  So Let's read on.
