Well, it is Wednesday and here is a book I am going to be looking for when it is released
TITLE: Cleopatra Confesses
AUTHOR: Carolyn Meyer
PUBLISHER: Simon & Schuster
PUB DATE: June 26th
SUMMARY: It is the first century B.C. Cleopatra, the third of the pharaoh's six children, is the one that her father has chosen to be the next queen of Egypt. But when King Ptolemy is forced into exile, Cleopatra is left alone to fend for herself in a palace rife with intrigue and murder. Smart, courageous, ambitious and sensuously beautiful, she possesses the charm to cause two of history's most famous leaders to fall in love with her. But as her cruel sisters plot to steal the throne, Cleopatra realizes there is only one person on whom she can rely--herself.
WHY THIS BOOK: I saw this book and I loved the description. It also falls within my daughters reading range. I want he to read about a strong female lead, also it will be the longest book my daughter has read so I want to see if she feels confident enough to get through it.
